About Me

I grew up in Rossland, BC – a small ski town nestled in the West Kootenays of British Columbia. For as long as I can remember, spending time in the mountains was an important part of my life – from going on backpacking trips with my family in the summer, to spending winters skiing at Red Mountain. When I was 18, a few of my friends invited me on a weekend climbing trip to Squamish, and before I knew it I was hooked! In the years since, my passion for mountain sports has led me to climb and ski all around western Canada. I’ve also been lucky enough to go on some more remote adventures including ski touring in Iceland and putting up new routes in Baffin Island.

Above all else, I love spending time in the mountains because of the people it connects me with. Today, most of my closest friendships have been made in the mountains and at the crag. When I realized this, pursuing a career as a guide felt like a natural fit. Today, I live in Canmore Alberta, and am a certified Apprentice Alpine Guide with the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides, and a Level 2 / Practitioner Member of the Canadian Avalanche Association. In the years ahead, I hope to become a fully certified IFMGA Mountain Guide, and continue sharing meaningful adventures with friends and clients alike.
